49 burning condors
Following 49 Burning Condors on social media, when I saw they would be performing at a Winter Solstice Celebration, could not wait for it!!!!! 1st experienced this very unique band Musikfest 2023. Immediately made my list of "Experience whenever possible. At the celebration, it was Kimber and Christopher acoustic. I didn't care, knew they would be incredible.
All originals, they seriously controlled the pace and crowd (around 20 people). If you have been to an acoustic show in a small venue, more intimate and completely different experience. They not only made us experience this but an entirely different side of their music.
Kimber's vocals ranged from soft / emotional to raw power. I am also talking about during one song. Christopher's guitar playing not only complimented her vocals, he showed the true power / emotion of acoustic. Main highlight: one song his playing sounded like vocals. Making it sound like a vocal duet vs. musician / singer. Vocals / music always combined to form something completely different. Going beyond telling a story and making us feel it.
Crowd response was genuine. Scanning faces, they were completely absorbed in every song / lyric / beat.
49 Burning Condors proved how unique they are. Both full band and acoustic will give you entirely different experiences / emotions. Their performance was main reason for my trip to Philadelphia December 21. Was it worth it? You even have to ask!
Support all indie musicians / creators. Seriously check out this band. Listen to / purchase their music. Very seriously check them out live, will be an incredible experience you will not easily forget.
