Allentown Rotary Club Foundation Awards Over $60,000 in Grants and Scholarships
(Allentown, PA) - The Allentown Rotary Club Foundation provided over $60,000 to community organizations and students over the foundation’s fiscal year ending June 30, 2024.
The foundation awards grants that enhance the health, education, and welfare of the local, national, and international communities consistent with the goals of the Allentown Rotary Club and Rotary International.
Organizations that received funding include the Da Vinci Science Center, Meals on Wheels of the Greater Lehigh Valley, the Perfect Fit for Women, the Wildlands Conservancy, the Salvation Army - Allentown location, the Boys and Girls Club of Allentown, Habitat for Humanity of the Lehigh Valley, Cedar Crest College’s Mayfair Festival of the Arts, Joyful Giving, the William Allen High School and Sustainable Cambodia.
The foundation also awarded scholarships for students to attend a college or university at a four-year not-for-profit educational institution, as well as scholarships for junior high school students to attend a STEM camp and senior high school students for participation in Camp Neidig, a camp focusing on developing leadership skills.
