Zinzenplatz is 2nd largest stage / tent on Northside of Musikfest. Experienced Bren and her band on smaller stages before. With their high energy, did not disappoint. Even with the stage a little crowded, they found a light the fire of every song / lyric. Scroll down for videos on this one!
Well planned set list / not knowing which instrument Bren will play next provided a high level of surprise. There were moments and songs you could easily notice Bren had serious personal experience. There is one I remember from both acoustic / full band. Driving through central PA or pretty much any area beyond suburbs. A song about those billboards promising the truth. Simple, but she has a way of finding the importance in those aspects of life.
Bren earned Zinzenplatz both solo and with her band. Emotion / power / surprises and more are reasons she made my overall favorites list.
