​Chairman Williams Announces Lauren Holmes as Staff Director for the House Committee on Small Business

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Roger Williams (TX-25), Chairman of the House Committee on Small Business, announced Lauren Holmes to serve as Staff Director for the House Committee on Small Business for the 119th Congress.


Holmes most recently served as the Deputy Staff Director for the Task Force on the Attempted Assassination of Donald J. Trump, where she was responsible for overseeing critical investigations into the July 13th and September 15th assassination attempts. Previously, Holmes served as General Counsel for Chairman Williams on the House Committee on Small Business and Counsel for the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform. 


“Lauren is a proven leader with years of experience navigating policy challenges and investigations,” said Chairman Williams. "Her exceptional work on the Task Force investigating the assassination attempts of President Trump and as General Counsel for the House Committee on Small Business provides a seamless transition into her role as Staff Director.
