Children Of The Pines | Award Winning Horror Coming to digital platforms globally from 18th October
Monday 19th August, London, UK: Freestyle Digital Media & Producer Lucas A. Ferrara are excited to share the trailer for award-winning new horror CHILDREN OF THE PINES, which will be coming to digital platforms globally from 18th October.
Winner of BEST FEATURE at Ice CineFest, BEST THRILLER at Indo-French Film Festival as well as an audience award at Gasparilla International Film Festival, CHILDREN OF THE PINES, is the Directorial feature debut from Director and Screenwriter Joshua Morgan. The film also features a standout Original Score from Sune Rose Wagner (The Raveonettes) who also composed the score for the 2015 Oscar nominated movie A WAR.
Over her winter break, Riley, a college junior, is persuaded by her estranged parents, Kathy and John, to visit home to fix their fractured relationship. As Riley settles in, she discovers that her parents have developed an unsettling friendship with her high school ex, Gordon, and that mysterious children are now living in the house. A series of disturbing flashbacks reveal Kathy and John's time at an eerie, unconventional couples therapy retreat that promised to heal their problems through supernatural means. As the day progresses, Riley starts to uncover the dark and twisted truth of her parents' desperate attempts to mend the deep issues plaguing their family.

Since 2020, he has worked with creatives across the globe to produce over 175 award-winning films.
Among his slate of features are: “HELP,” written and directed by Blake Ridder; “MAKEUP,” written and directed by Hugo Andre; “5000 SPACE ALIENS,” written and directed by Scott Bateman; “CHILDREN OF THE PINES,” written and directed by Joshua Morgan; and a soon-to-be released horror, “MANOR OF DARKNESS,” written and directed by Blake Ridder. Currently in post-production is Hugo Andre’s “HAPPY AS LARRY,” a feature-length comedy, which was filmed entirely in Scotland.

And last, but certainly not least, Phoebe Campbell (House of the Dragon), and Rebecca Calder (Wrath of Man), appear in “TWOFOLD,” an award-winning, single-take film, written by Toto Bruin, and directed by Forbes “30 Under 30” honoree, Ella Greenwood.
