Clean Team Workforce September Employee of the Month
(ALLENTOWN, PA) – The Clean Team Workforce announces its Employee of the Month for September, Shaheed B. Shaheed, a 2022 graduate of the Allentown Rescue Mission’s Transformation Program, worked for the Clean Team Workforce until June of 2023. That year, he earned the June Employee of the Month award. After nine months of working for the Clean Team Workforce, Shaheed saved enough money to secure a place to live and moved out of the Mission. He then found work in the private sector and lived independently for eight months. After eight months, Shaheed ran into financial trouble due to unexpected expenses and reduced work hours, which left him struggling to pay rent. He was forced to move out of his apartment and returned to the Allentown Rescue Mission. The Clean Team Workforce provides good-standing former employees with the opportunity to be immediately rehired if they find themselves without a job and acts as a safety net for men who experience trouble making the transition to independent living, like Shaheed. During his time back with the Clean Team Workforce, Shaheed has led property cleanup, junk removal, and grass cutting teams. He is a hard worker who pays attention to detail and gets the job done. He arrives on time every day and is ready to work. Shaheed has been saving money with hopes of starting over again with a new place to live and a new job. The Clean Team Workforce congratulates Shaheed for becoming Employee of the Month a second time and being brave enough to start over again.
