DECADE OF THE DEAD Comes to Life with Film Mode Entertainment and Makes Cannes World Market Premiere and Screening
New action/adventure film stars Sean Patrick Thomas (Till, The Tragedy of Macbeth), Shane Johnson (Power), Jenna Leigh Green (Sabrina, Wicked), Corsica Wilson (In a World…, Dead Season) and Marissa Merrill (End, Dead Season)
CANNES (May 15, 2024) – Film Mode Entertainment (FME), Flynn Forest Productions, Sight & Sound Productions and Lucky 13 Productions announce the Cannes World Market Premiere and screening of newly completed action/adventure, Decade of the Dead. The film stars Sean Patrick Thomas (Till, The Tragedy of Macbeth, Lying and Stealing), Shane Johnson (Power), Jenna Leight Green (Sabrina, Wicked), Corsica Wilson (In a World…, Dead Season) and Marissa Merrill (End, Dead Season). Decade of the Dead is directed by Adam Deyoe and Fairai Branscombe Richmond and written by Loren Semmens and Adam Deyoe. The film was produced by Loren Semmens, Bryan Spicer and Joel Michaely.
Decade of The Dead will have its world premiere market screening in Cannes on Tuesday, May 14 at 9am local time at Palais B. Film Mode Entertainment has acquired international sales rights for Decade of the Dead and is presenting the film and promo-reel to buyers in Cannes for the first time. The deal was negotiated by Andrew van den Houten of 79th & Broadway Entertainment on behalf of the producers with Clay Epstein of FME.

Decade of the Dead takes place ten years after the apocalypse, where a group of bounty hunters finds refuge on a tropical island only to discover it’s ruled by a deranged cult leader with plans to take over the post-apocalyptic world. Stuck between the cult and the relentless hordes of the walking dead, the survivors must fight for their lives.
Sean Patrick Thomas’ extensive body of work includes critically acclaimed features Chinonye Chukwu’s “Till”, Joel Coen’s “The Tragedy of Macbeth” with Denzel Washington, and Darren Aronofsky’s “The Fountain” with Hugh Jackman. His current role as Polarity in “Gen V,” Amazon’s The Boys spin off, has introduced him to a whole new generation of fans. As well as countless other memorable films such as the iconic “Cruel Intentions”, additional credits include the hit ensemble franchise “Barbershop”; and the fan favorite “Save The Last Dance”, which garnered him the Young Hollywood Award for Standout Performance; and two MTV Movie Awards, for Breakthrough Male Performance and Best Kiss. He is repped by Innovative Artists and Greenlight Management.
Shane Johnson received his BFA from Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington and then to LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts) for classical training as an actor. Perhaps best known as Cooper Saxe on the hit Series Power and its juggernaut spinoff Ghost, Johnson’s first film credit dates back to Saving Private Ryan. From there he enjoyed a variety of film roles including starring in Black Cadillac and supporting roles in Behind Enemy Lines with Owen Wilson, Take with Jeremy Renner and Chez Upshaw with Kevin Pollack. One particular role of note is as the titular role in The Possession of Michael King. Also worth highlighting, is the forthcoming 2024 film Call Me Now, as well as a recurring part on the Amazon hit series THEM from famed creator Little Marvin. Also on the small screen, Johnson’s recent notable guest starring roles include Chicago PD, Blue Bloods, SWAT, and Grey’s Anatomy, to name a few.
Best known as ‘Libby Chessler’ from the hit television series ‘Sabrina the Teenage Witch,’ Jenna Leigh Greencan soon be seen starring in the upcoming feature film, "Expectations," directed by Chris Robert Riegel. She was recently seen on television as 'Irina Briganti in "The Loudest Voice" opposite Russell Crowe and Seth MacFarlane, "Blue Bloods," "Magnum PI," "NCIS: Hawaii," and "Gossip Girl" amongst others. Jenna co-starred in Guy Nattiv’s ‘Skin,’ opposite Jamie Bell and starred opposite Jonathan Rhys Meyers and John Makkovich in the Pandemic Thriller, "The Survivalist," directed by Jon Keeyes. She is repped by The Katz Company.
Corsica Wilson made her stage debut as Hero in Shakespeare's “Much Ado About Nothing”, followed by many other productions in high school. Originally accepted to Florida State University’s competitive BFA Acting program, she recognized her overpowering love for film, and decided to earn a degree in Public Relations, allowing her to be extremely active at FSU’s film school as well as allowing for the opportunity to take on supporting roles in 3 independent feature films. After graduating Magna Cum Laude, Corsica moved to Los Angeles to begin pursuing a professional career. She is repped by ADR.
Marissa Merrill is an actress and writer, known for Dead Season, The Knowing, End, and Another Yeti a Love Story: Life on the Streets.
