Due to living in an area that is dominated with cover music / bands, usually avoid. DMC Duo's cover of Invincible by Pat Benatar blew me away. Slowing it down and giving the song an entirely new meaning. Darell's guitar provided a new, subtle power / Marisa's vocals seriously hit deep with me. I complimented Marissa on the song. Most bands choose one of her top hits. Marissa and Darrell give new life to a song how many people actually remember? Talking about the song and movie (The Legend of Billie Jean). Honestly, only way I like a cover is when the band / musician reinvents it.

I go to Musikfest for original bands / musicians / music. 2024 swear I was a cover song magnet walking around. DMC Duo seriously proved their originals can grab / keep your attention.
