ICYMI: Gov. Lee Champions Education Freedom Act in New TV Ad
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee Governor Bill Lee is featured in a new television ad launched today by the American Federation for Children championing the Education Freedom Act (SB0001/HB0001), legislation that will deliver universal school choice for Tennessee families and continue record investments in teachers and public schools. The ad campaign will run in television markets across the state.
“Freedom is at the core of being a Tennessean, so when it comes to education, more freedom is what our children need,” said Gov. Lee. “The Education Freedom Act empowers parents with school choice, supports our teachers, and further invests in our public schools. Tennessee can have the best public schools and ensure every child gets the education that fits their needs. There is no question that now is the time to bring universal school choice to Tennessee by passing the Education Freedom Act.”
