House Passes Bipartisan Legislation to Further Assist America’s Small Businesses
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, the U.S. House of Representatives passed three small business bills favorably out of the chamber.
H.R. 5426, to require the Administrator of the Small Business Administration to provide a link to resources for submitting reports on suspected fraud relating to certain COVID-19 loans – sponsored by Reps. Van Duyne (TX-24) and Landsman (OH-01).

- This bill requires the Administrator of the Small Business Administration to post a visible weblink on their website so that individuals may more easily report fraud. The link must be visible 30 days after the bill is enacted.
- This bill removes the self-certification process for businesses who wish to join this program.
- This bill codifies the already existing Office of Native American Affairs within the Small Business Administration into law.
