- This bill grades agencies on the number of contracts awarded to small businesses for the very first time, bringing a greater focus on reversing the decline of participation from small businesses in America’s industrial base.
- This bill requires the Small Business Administration to enter into a memorandum of understanding with the National Council on Disability to increase access to resources for entrepreneurs with disabilities.
- This bill requires federal agencies to share with the Small Business Administration its future plans with cancelled contract solicitations and a justification as to why it was cancelled. It also provides assistance to small businesses impacted by a cancellation by helping them identify similar contracting opportunities.
- This bill requires the Small Business Administration to meet rural communities immediately following a disaster, removing a barrier to access assistance when they need it the most.
