2026, Lehigh Valley Comic Con is celebrating 25 years. It will be year 3 at the Agri-plex / Allentown Fairgrounds. Attending / covering the first 2, it has achieved major con status, on the level of another favorite: Fan Expo Philadelphia.
Important Note: Definitely arrive early, especially on Saturday. 2025: line was over 1 block long around 10:30 a.m. You will spend at least a few hours here.
Years 1 and 2, they easily packed Agri-plex with major guests / artist alley / vendors and more. I am very curious how they will fit everything for the anniversary this year. Starting off with my favorite at any con / expo / event: Artist (Creator) Alley!!!!
Comics / dice / graphic novels / 3d printed are only the beginning of this section. Scroll down this list and be seriously impressed at variety / genres. Scrolling down the list, some interesting titles have my curiosity. Remember Dreamscape from when I used to collect in late 90's.
Featured Guests: Marvel / DC artists and voice actors. Jim Balent has a wild series "Witch of the Black Rose". Scott Hanna / Holly G / Tami Lynn Cosplay are only a few on this very long list. Major aspect I can't wait to experience this year (in addition to Creator section). You might want to add Zenescope Comics to the list.
Into / curious about Cosplay? Lehigh Valley Comic Con definitely has you covered. Featuring Star Wars / Power Rangers / other surprises. Definitely a great chance to learn about all aspects and great photo ops!
Mentioning Lehigh Valley Comic Con to a few people, they asked about price. The organization makes a very serious effort on affordability. Reaction: almost shocked at $50 for a VIP / $20 for 2-day pass / $10 for Sunday. Even most families can afford the experience. The VIP is definitely worth the money, excellent value. They want you to have some extra cash to spend on all the incredible guests / creators / vendors.
Lehigh Valley Comic Con did not hold anything back for the Anniversary. Only thing missing? Official After-party (joking here). 2 days / a packed venue / excellent value for admission (to say the least). Long list of vendors / creators / special guests / some surprises combine to place this one on the level of major events in large cities. After covering for 2 years, they have already outgrown the Agri-plex.
There is a serious suggestion here: on website, I could not find any contact info other than social media and for tables. No FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) section. Realizing they may not have staff / volunteers for this aspect, it is still an important one. If they evolve beyond Agri-plex and have enough staff / volunteers, adding a few panel discussions in different areas.
Lehigh Valley Comic Con is on an extremely short list (Allentown / Bethlehem) I recommend to people in New York City / Philadelphia. On another short list: I look forward to seeing how it continues to evolve day after it ends.
