The Moravian Historical Society honors Charlene Donchez Mowers at its 18th annual gala dinner and auction.
Nazareth, PA—The Moravian Historical Society announces its 18th Annual Share the Heritage Gala will take place on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at the Northampton Country Club. This year, the Society is pleased to honor Charlene Donchez Mowers with the annual Heritage Award. Charlene Donchez Mowers dedicated more than two decades of work that culminated in July 2024 when Bethlehem became one of four Moravian church settlements inscribed together as a UNESCO transnational World Heritage Site. The World Heritage Site list identifies cultural and natural places that deserve to be protected, preserved, and made available for future generations to enjoy. Charlene Donchez Mowers led Bethlehem’s long effort to make this dream a reality.
The annual Gala is the Museum’s primary fundraiser, raising vital funds for all operations, including exhibitions, programs for children and adults, and the preservation of the historic site. The Gala will feature cocktails, dinner, and both a silent and live auction.
