WASHINGTON, D.C. - Congressman Williams (R-TX), Chairman of the House Committee on Small Business, issued the following statement regarding President Trump’s announcement that the Small Business Administration will begin handling the student loan portfolio. 
“President Trump is ushering in a new era of accountability and credibility to our federal agencies and programs,” said Chairman Williams. “The Small Business Administration, under the leadership of Administrator Loeffler, will return integrity to federal student loans. The Committee stands ready to support the President’s agenda.” ​
