Scream and Shout, School’s Out Bash in Upper Saucon Returns!
The countdown to summer is nearly over, and the celebration begins now! The Southern Lehigh Chamber of Commerce, in proud partnership with the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce and Upper Saucon Township, invites the community to kick off the season at an evening filled with family fun, great food, and an unforgettable movie under the stars.
The School’s Out Bash & Movie Night will take place on Friday, June 5th from 6:00PM to 9:00PM at Hopewell Park. This free community event is designed to launch summer in the best way possible, with high-energy activities, local vendors, and something fun for all ages.
Hopewell Park will be transformed into a vibrant summer celebration featuring bounce houses, a face painter, tattoo stencil artist, hair tinsel stations, and interactive activities hosted by local businesses. Guests can also enjoy a variety of delicious options from local food trucks including Sugar Cycle, Donut NV, The Food Trailer by Diana’s Catering and Gourmet Market, and more!
As the sun sets, the evening will wrap up with a special outdoor screening of Disney’s Zootopia 2, a highly anticipated family-friendly film that will bring the community together for a shared cinematic experience under the night sky. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and get comfortable for a perfect summer night in the park.
“We love a good way to kick off the summer season,” said Chloe Krempasky, Manager of the Southern Lehigh Chamber of Commerce. “This event marks the unofficial start of summer and offers a wonderful opportunity for families to unplug, connect with neighbors, and embrace the joy, energy, and excitement that the season ahead brings.”
The evening promises to be a memorable summer celebration, bringing the community together to welcome the season and create lasting memories for all.
