Plaza Tropical performance was my intro to Sunrise Cries. Honestly, they were on my mid-range list. Catching my attention high with their bio for Musikfest, not sure if I could make their shows (it turned out to be a busy festival). Lehigh Valley Charter School for the Arts created this band showcase. Already there for another band, decided to stick around for Sunrise Cries. Missing this performance would have been a HUGE / MAJOR mistake!!!!

High energy / owning the stage / incredible performance (overall), yeah, can't wait to see what they will do in a 90-minute set at Zinzenplatz!!!! Basically, after 40 minutes, they jumped to my DO NOT MISS THE NEXT PERFORMANCE LIST. Extremely hard to do with an already packed schedule. Something else completely caught me off guard...

One song, Float Away, not only proved the band knows Rock genre intimately; immediately made my overall favorite song list. Listened to it over 100 times since their Zinzenplatz performance. Original music, commanding the stage / crowd / high energy / knowing how to plan a set list / a few surprises to maintain crowd focus. Just a few reasons you need to experience this band in person. Reasons I look forward attending future shows. Sunrise Cries did in 2 performances what only a few are capable of. Making my overall favorite band list (including major recording artists). Reinventing the Rock genre through intensity / power / passion / genuine love for music / performaning.
