Photo walks / models / unique location combined to make Unique Photo Creators Challenge a success! Occasional rain / showers didn't stop everyone from having a great time. Philly Create added a unique aspect: model photo shoot at Sugar Mommas.
Main aspect I wanted to attend this one? Street level photo walks. Combining model poses with in the moment everyday life. The photos may surprise you, especially paying attention to what is happening in the background. Experiencing a part of the city you may not have noticed. The rain provided added effects / reflections. Variety was a main element here: Astronauts / horses / cowboys and more.
This was my first experience at a Philly Create event, they did not disappoint. Model photo shoot at Sugar Momma's. Location could not even be found on Google Maps. Walking into the basement, reminded me of a speakeasy during prohibition era. At least what I learned / saw in movies and TV shows. Sam (founder / Philly Create) provided specific instructions for the photo shoot. Honestly, basement was an excellent location. Lighting provided challenges for even advanced level photographers.
One of the best parts? People I met / great conversations. Learning about their styles / their favorite subjects to photo. Seriously, it was a great time / much needed break.
