West Side Hammer Electric acquired by Hatzel & Buehler, Inc.
On May 3, 2024, Hatzel & Buehler, Inc. purchased the assets of West Side Hammer Electric. Both companies have a long history in the electrical industry. West Side Electrical Service, Inc. was founded in 1935 by Luke T. Cunningham, and continued to thrive under the leadership of four generations of Cunninghams for 89 years. West Side has grown to become one of the leading electrical contracting companies in the Lehigh Valley, and will continue to grow and serve its customers with the same quality and attention they have come to expect.
West Side has successfully completed all types of projects ranging from service calls to complex data centers, hospitals, higher education facilities and major industrial facilities. Its lengthy client list includes such major entities as St. Luke’s University Health Network, Lehigh Valley Health Network, Tierpoint and EMD, to name a few.
With a 140 year history in the electrical industry, Hatzel & Buehler, Inc. will continue the West Side legacy into the future and ensure the clients continue to receive the same high level of service they are ac customed to.
