afc urgent care
New urgent care facility on Allentown's East Side. Rare occasion, paid attention to my body and needed one. Considering most medical facilities are owned / operated by St. Luke's or Lehigh Valley Health Network, AFC Urgent Care is a welcome alternative.
AFC offers more than help for the sudden emergency. Primary Care / Xray / On-site lab expand their capabilities. Personally, I may stop by for treatment of season allergies (seriously). I am curious about how they deal with people who don't have insurance. In the past, experienced an attitude about that point at a different company. Even though I paid entire bill in cash.
AFC Urgent Care appears to have found a great balance between patient / business side. Seriously, every doctor / medical facility needs to make money. Free Health Care is a great fantasy. Reality is far more complex puzzle.
Any Grand Opening highlights the best of a business / facility. Day-to-day is the real test.
