Part of my intro to New York Fashion Week / scene. Balance Arts Center fashion show was everything I hoped for. Designs / clothes were affordable and for everyday wear. Previous experience: the "Only a celebrity / rich person could afford and wear this (media / social media). It was a great intro into how I wanted to photo / video a fashion show.
Everyone focuses on runway / models. Yes, you see crowd in background. Kind of pointless without people attending / viewing. Balance Arts Center Fashion Show also made realize something else. This I will be doing research on / future article. Models often act like robots. Maybe I am in small minority here: Shouldn't they be some emotion, maybe walk with a little attitude? Highlight not only what you are wearing, but also a little pride for designer.
This may sound strange, a Hallmark movie reason I became interested in fashion. Hopefully, will develop some contacts. Interviews with designers / articles Behind the Scenes are planned.
