The Henge / Christine McHough
During 2022 holiday season, stopped Bethlehem House Gallery twice. Wanted to check out Holiday Show. Personally, huge fan of abstract / fantasy / sci-fi art. The one creation I returned to several times: The Henge / Christine McHough. Normally, don't like to include personal interpretations. This one looked like a Chinese dragon attacking Stonehenge. Hey, I see art differently from most people.
Another creation really catching my attention: Day Break. It appeared another galaxy / universe was being born beyond Earth. Wanted to meet Christine (not that often I want to meet an artist). Stopped by closing reception.
Christine was a serious pleasure to speak with! Ready to talk about her art. Without an ego or being self-centered. Experienced too many times covering Lehigh Valley art scene. Known for her landscapes, night sky / celestial horizon was new. In creating her art, Christine relies on science and actual astronomical photos.
