Festival of trees
You have to check out this new addition to Christmas Village / Love Park! Corner of 16th and JFK is a rotunda / pavilion. From the outside, you observe a lot of decorated trees. Walk inside for the best part! I had the chance for a conversation with the woman responsible for almost all the decorations. Could not believe 1 person did almost everything.
Take your time walking around, seriously. Every tree is different with a separate theme. Santa was there for the kids (and adults who have not forgotten).
Festival of Trees is an essential part of your Philadelphia Holiday Experience. The perfect addition to what I call a Holiday Town. Combining Christmas Villages at Love Park / City Hall, Winter Village / Dilworth Park, Holiday Extravaganza / Comcast Center, Dicken's Village and Light Show / Macy's. Seriously, plan on spending at least a few hours here. Don't forget about gift shopping (do all of mine at various Christmas Villages / Holiday Markets). Seriously, stop by the great food / beverage vendors! Plus, bring the family for the perfect holiday experience, especially at City Hall!!!!

Right off Important Tip: Try to arrive early. Love Park is part of a huge Christmas Village extending across the street (Dilworth Park / City Hall). Saturday, opening weekend, by 1:30 decent crowd (started at noon). With longer lines at hot beverages / bratwurst.

In addition to excellent holiday shopping at vendors / artists. You won't leave hungry / thirsty over the top food / beverages. "Those trees look so beautiful" Festival of Trees. "Need to get the selfie / photo" (Christmas / Holiday Tree and Love Park Sign). Christmas Village / Love Park also has live entertainment!!!!! From local musicians to German Festival and college bands. This important part of your holiday experience (Philadelphia and others) will create memories passed down to another generation.
