First glance / walkthrough: Overly optimistic bordering nauseating. Like almost every other artistic creation, you have to look deeper. Yes, sun / rainbows are in every painting. They often contrast darker colors creating a balance that could represent people / life.
Overall style almost instantly reminded me of holiday ornaments my grandmother had. Kind of a 50's / 60's style with curves and use of color. Probably way off here.
When you stop by this exhibit, take your time at each painting. Notice contrasts in color and style. Look at the figure and how it is relative to sun / rainbow. You will be surprised at what is beyond illusion of 1st appearances.
