Macy's Dickens christmas village
Update: Definitely worth a second visit. New Year's Eve another reservation. No crowd / able to take my time. Noticed all the details I missed 1st time. Just as magical 2nd time around.

Dickens Christmas Village is one of the most unique holiday experiences in my life! Didn't know what to expect going in. Watched several "A Christmas Carol" movies. Honestly, never read the book. Macy's magically transforms part of the store into the book. You literally walk through the story!
Staff in period costume help you forget about being in a department store or a city. Creating old London streets / scenes, each stop has a board with part of the story. Don't be surprised to hear character's voices, especially a certain old man... :)
A truly immersive experience for everyone. Helped remind me about true magic of holiday season. To a point, feel like a kid again. Only thing I am curious about: If this is a "one and done". In other words, will it hold the same magic for multiple visits. Something for next year! Scroll down for video article.
