Director Karla Badillo's debut feature OCA, produced by Woo Films, has finished filming
Filming of director Karla Badillo's debut feature, OCA, starring actress Natalia Solián (Huesera, 2023), wrapped in San Luis Potosí.
Leonardo Ortizgris (Museo, 2018) and Cecilia Suárez (Sexo, Pudor y Lágrimas, 1999; Elvira, te daría mi vida pero la estoy usando, 2014; La casa de las flores, 2018-2020; Perfectos desconocidos, 2018) are also part of the cast accompanied by actors such as Gerardo Trejoluna (El norte sobre el vacío, 2022), Enrique Arreola and Raúl Briones (Asphyxia, 2019; Una película de policías, 2021; El norte sobre el vacío, 2022).
Headed by María José Córdova, Rafa Ley and Manolo Caro, the Woo Films production company has produced films such as Temporada de Huracanes (2023), Las niñas bien (2019), Ruido (2022) and series as La casa de las flores (2018-2020).

SYNOPSIS
Rafaela, a young nun, sets out on a journey to the nearest town to meet the archbishop. Along the way she will cross paths geographically and emotionally with a pilgrimage, a parachutist, and a femme fatale, who will make her move forward or backward from her goal to finally meet herself.

Karla Badillo is a young Mexican director, screenwriter and producer from San Luis Potosí. She specialized in production at the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica. She has directed Sin regresos, winner of the best short film by a woman director at the GIFF 2019, Official Selection of the Dumbo Film Festival 2019 and Oasis, winner of the México Fashion Film 2017. As a producer she has produced Ruido by Natalia Beristain and Eureka by Lisandro Alonso.
