Element Times Square West
Lobby / Christmas Eve 2022
Very special THANK YOU to entire staff / Element Hotel for all the hard work / Christmas. Especially Front Desk / concierge. I don't care what you have the heat set at. Near zero temps / below zero wind chills made it cold in the lobby.
Completely honest: When I travel for FireCity (what are you supposed to do on an actual vacation?), don't spend too much time in a hotel (sleep / breakfast). 2022 Christmas Eve, time to enjoy part of the holiday season. Like I said, near zero temps / below zero wind chills, definitely glad when I checked in.
Arrived around noon (check-in: 3 p.m.). Very friendly / professional front desk when I asked about dropping off my bag (no problem!). Killed a few hours between Bryant Park (fav in NYC especially Winter Village). A few stops at businesses to warm up. 2:50 went back to check in. Incredibly friendly / welcoming reception. Under 5 minutes, on elevator to 31st floor. Walked into room, very impressed. Clean, no problems with tv or anything. Lifetime holiday movies on (I love them). Zero problem relaxing and warming up!
Security: Key tap for rooms. Entering hotel: Key tap / buzzer. Room: left my Cannon dslr in room entire time. Nothing was touched / completely secure.
Christmas morning: Hot breakfast buffet included. 2 rooms with enough tables to accommodate fairly large number of guests. 12 p.m. checkout perfect to catch 12:30 bus.
Have zero problem staying here on a future visit. 1 block from Port Authority makes it perfect location. Midnight Christmas Eve: article from Times Square. You are in the heart of Manhattan with several places short walk (Times Square / Broadway / Bryant Park and more).
Staff / service is huge with me. Entire staff was excellent / friendly / professional. Breakfast staff worked very hard to make sure everything was filled.
