Scrolling down the list of Guests, Fanfaire NYC has seriously evolved from 2023. Might be surprised at what you will learn, especially from students. Checking out website, 1st stop: Guests.
This part may surprise you, variety is an understatement; examples: illustrators / actors / video effects / comic artists. Top of my list? Deanna Kei (fashion illustrator / live event artist). Speaking with some of the guests, might give you a push to actually try something new / go after one of your dreams. My favorite part of any fan / comic event will seriously give you inspiration to try...
Artists Alley: Featuring students, I remember from 2023, these young creators outpace a lot of adults. Their imaginations / drive / passion will seriously inspire you on several levels. Another area where variety will surprise you, not only with illustrations / comics but other areas. Fanfaire places equal emphasis on these creators. Don't be afraid to ask questions. Creator stories / behind the scenes is always the best part.
Events include: Cosplay / Mascot / Dungeons & Dragons (last one I might have to stop by). Mascot Contest is very unique. Plus, an excellent way to really make people feel a part of Fanfaire.
All this plus more combine to make Fanfaire a unique / educational / very fun experience. Before I forget: Make sure to bring the kids! Trust me, they will have an excellent experience. Talking to students my encourage their creative side. I am seriously looking forward attending Fanfaire 2024, especially Artists Alley!
