Definitely different, 2023 is the 17th year for Franklin Square in Philadelphia. One of many things I have learned about that city: They love to party / celebrate. Franklin Square is what I call the Family Square around city hall. Fountain / great miniature golf course / playground / carousel plus a food stand make it a great place to take a break / enjoy the city.
Of course, Benjamin Franklin was there to help celebrate. What birthday celebration is complete without cake and a party? Pizza and Tastycakes followed in the pavilion. Always try to stop by on every visit to Philadelphia. Exception: when it is freezing cold! This year's birthday coincided with Chinese Lantern Festival.
