Franklin Square
Within a 2-mile radius of City Hall, a lot to experience during holiday season. Seriously, no priority list here. Market St. toward Penn's Landing / Left at 6th St. Franklin Square is the family / fun square. Playground / fountain / great miniature golf / food / beverages. Every season, different light show at fountain. Christmas / holiday season is the best.
I said this in other articles. After 15 years, time for new holiday traditions. Franklin Square is one of them. When experiencing, don't only pay attention to fountain, look around. Almost entire park is in sync to music. Fountain is only a part of your Franklin Square holiday experience. Even if you are solo, definitely check out miniature golf! Multiple experiences, challenging and fun. Decorations might raise the score a little. :) Enjoy some food beverages. Downtown Philadelphia is the best place I have been to for the holiday season. Will always be an important part of personal / media traditions.
