Weird how life / fate / whatever you believe has surprises. Had the serious pleasure of meeting Kristin / her husband on the Delaware River Ferry. Returning from Xpoenential Music Festival. Conversation about photography. Requested her rates. Looking for a photographer in Philadelphia for a few months. Wanted true rooftop / skyline view. After checking out website / Instagram, Kristin was THE photographer I wanted for this.
Requirements: Person you see in photos is who you see on streets / events. Little editing as possible. Skyline view / overlooking city. Did the whole "Immortal Phoenix / survived everything / come right at me" thing. Wanted different emotion / feel.
Kristin is a true photojournalist. She knew exactly how to capture the moment / what I wanted. Kristin had great ideas for poses / backdrops. Working with a photographer, give them my ideas. Always listen to their creative concepts. Never would have thought about Ben Franklin Bridge / Camden in background. Her husband provided a great idea for street photo. Knew poses I wanted. Kristin came up with ideas never would have imagined.
Overall: Certain moments, felt like I was a professional model. Kristin has a way of immediately making you feel comfortable / relaxed. Her level of professionalism far exceeds excellent. She had ideas / concepts I never would have thought of / imagined. Switching cameras to capture the exact moment, what client / photographer are looking for.
