National constitution center
The National Constitution Center has been high on the list for several months. Not one for the past or history. Current society / mainstream media / social media created a desire to learn more about United States history.
Memorial Day 2023: Stopped by Independence Hall Visitor Center. Found out The National Constitution Center free admission that day. Checked phone for time schedule, I can do this! Especially since it is right behind Independence Hall Visitor Center.
Walking in, impressive, not on a large scale. 1st floor has great exhibits and information to help with your visit. 2nd floor is main focus / big surprise. Main room almost completely interactive! Walked around and it reminded me of Faith and Liberty Discover Center: Past / history merges with modern technology. Almost every exhibit / everything you walk up to has an interactive aspect: picking up a phone / motion detecting videos / and more. Want to know what it feels like to be president giving a speech? Take your photo behind the podium!
The National Constitution Center is seriously on my list for a 2nd visit! Need to spend more time at different exhibits. Highly, Highly recommended, especially for kids! Adults, you will walk away learning more about our country and history. In the 45 minutes (I think...) I was there, learned a few things that surprised me. Like I said, not really one for the past or history. The National Constitution Center is changing my mind.
