I have always loved taking photos (photojournalist style). 1st camera? 70's with a 110 / flashbulb (loved popping them). Yes, I date back to the film days. Walking around cities is a great way to find local spots and photos!
washington square
July 23, 2023: Finally took advice of a few people (take time and relax / enjoy the city). Washington Square was 1 of 2 places I sat down in the grass. Removed T-shirt. Thought: "Right now, I don't give a fuck about anything. Time for me and to be a part of / enjoy a city I love." Didn't think about FireCity or anything else. Cities are a great place to do that. No one cared about my appearance or anything else. I was just another person there. Ok, I did want to get great photos for FireCity. I was able to do something never thought possible: relax for a few. In case you are wondering: Madison Square was the other place. Made time / slowed the pace down / felt alive.
