The Patriot All-Stars, a Lehigh Valley Rock Band, Release
“Join the Fight for Freedom” – A Full Length Album of Rockin’ Patriotic, Conservative and Satirical Tunes
The Patriot All-Stars, a Lehigh Valley based rock band, have released their new album titled “Join The Fight For Freedom” just in time for the 2022 mid-term elections. The album is a collection of 12 thought-provoking, inspiring songs focused on the state of Freedom in America. The CD and downloads of the album are available on their website, patriotallstars.com, as well as online outlets including iTunes and Spotify. The website also features videos produced by The Patriot All-Stars which are also available on You-Tube.
The Patriot All-Stars, founded and driven by the music and lyrics of Singer/Songwriter Nick Sabatine, is based in the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania. They released two previous albums – Stand Up For America (2020) and Join The Angry Mob (2010). In Join The Fight For Freedom, Sabatine writes about the erosion of Freedom in America, and in the case of Covid, much of the civilized world. He blends his rock and roll musical roots with his classic education in poetry to produce music and lyrics which entertain, inspire and intellectually challenge his listeners.
Sabatine described his motivation for producing this album “The struggle between those who seek power over their fellow man and those who yearn to be free has existed since man came into existence. The Founding Fathers of the great social experiment we call America sought to create a world where everyone believed their Freedom came from God and not man. That is the truth America was built upon. Over the decades, those who sought power for themselves have used the power of government, the media, and powerful social manipulators to indoctrinate Americans and their children in a philosophy where government is all powerful and we are all subjects of those in control of our government.”
He wrote and recorded the title song “Join The Fight For Freedom” over 10 years ago. He rerecorded this track and released it now because he believes the corruption it references has just gotten worse over time. The lyrics are a call to protect individual rights under attack from the powerful elite and the way to fight for freedom is described in these lines from “Join The Fight For Freedom” -
Remembering the past will be, the key to restoring democracy,
We need to teach our children what it's like to be free.
“We Gotta Believe” was inspired by the death of a modern American Patriot, Rush Limbaugh. Sabatine notes Limbaugh was very aware of the dangerous forces trying to destroy individual freedom, but he urged his fellow Americans to stay positive and work to preserve their freedom because he knew the truth referred to in this song is freedom comes from God and man cannot win a fight against Him.
Sabatine wrote “The Ministry Of Truth” to highlight the way those who control our government, the media and big tech seek to silence speech and control our thoughts by calling truth “disinformation” or “misinformation”. Nick believes recognizing this effort to manipulate people is the first step toward recovering the our right to think and speak without intimidation.
“I Aint Goin’ Nowhere” was inspired by the trucker strikes over inane Covid restrictions and the example truckers around the world set when they stood up for the freedom to make decisions on healthcare.
“Love It Or Leave It” is Sabatine’s message to woke progressives in America. He calls out those who distort America’s history and label anyone who believes in the goodness of America racist or evil.
“Gimme My Free Stuff” is a lighthearted satirical treatment of socialism in America. In a reference to socialists’ attempt to buy the votes of our children by bribing them with “free” education.
“Don’t Blame Me (I Voted For Trump)” was written to state the obvious – President Biden and his handlers are destroying the country through inflation and policies like no cash bail and the green new deal. A video featuring this unofficial anthem for Trump voters can be found on patriotallstars.com or YouTube. Ala Robert Palmer, the video features a female back up band, an impossibly catchy chorus, a remorseful Biden voter and a surprise ending.
Sabatine gives new meaning to the phrase “Stop Drinking The Kool-Aid” when he addresses the way government, at the direction of Dr. Anthony Fauci, shut down the American economy during the Covid pandemic. Stop Drinking The Kool-Aid is a humorous anthym which is a call to reject the psuedo science Fauci and politicians used to control us and our children.
“The Evil In The Air” is a serious treatment of the Covid debacle. Sabatine’s message is he real evil in the air was not Covid but the irrational fear our government instilled in Americans to control and in many cases, destroy their lives.
In “Taliban Joe”, Sabatine references Joe Biden’s incompetent and embarrassing Afghanistan withdrawal to point out the danger of electing a mentally incompetent individual President. The song’s message is Biden’s refusal to listen to those who knew the dangers of his ill-conceived “plan” for withdrawal has endangered America and the world, and in the process, endangers freedom.
Sabatine wrote “You Might Be A Racist” over 12 years ago in the Obama era, (it appears on our first album “Join The Angry Mob”), but he couldn’t resist updating the lyrics and re-recording it in light of the continued growth of identity politics practiced by the left. He references FOX personalities and even the late Rush Limbaugh as racists to make to highlight the hypocracy of identify politics.
The album concludes with “When We All See The Light” which revives the theme of George Orwell’s “1984”. Sabatine notes “Big Brother Joe lies to us daily telling us “the border is closed” when we see it isn’t, or rising gas prices are the result of “Putin’s war” when we know he has waged an assault on domestic energy production from the day he took office.”
Nick Sabatine wrote and produced Join The Fight For Freedom to send a message to his listeners: “Freedom to express your thoughts, freedom to teach your children your values and even the freedom to think for yourself without fear of being crushed by those who seek control over you must be fought for and protected.” Nick believes in the power of music to educate and inspire people and raise the human spirit. That is the goal of his unique artistic journey - Join The Fight For Freedom.
