The Hole / tribeca / nyc
On the list of seriously had attention / curiosity (art in press release). Unfortunately, could not make opening. One of several stops Jan 14, 2023. Exhibit did not disappoint...
Artist interpretations of The Midnight Hour / night / darkness varied. Several times / creations: could have spent at least 1/2-hour viewing. Fav genres: abstract / fantasy / science fiction. Even realistic creations made me stop and think. What was artist going through / experiences when during the process? Not easy to accomplish.
Scroll did an excellent job on technical side. Spacing / contrast on both floors draws your attention to next creation. Gives you time to stop / experience individual works.
