Sweet life bakeshop

Just off South and 8th Sts. is an excellent source of health food (by my standards). Seriously, The Sweet Life Bakeshop is always on my must stop list in Philadelphia for several years. Original fav: Peaches and Cream, excellent for usual lunch, not joking. This year, tried the cupcakes, SERIOUSLY OVER THE TOP!!!!! This visit, Chocolate Butter Cupcake.

One thing I love about this place: customer service. From the 1st time I walked in, made to feel welcome and my business mattered to them. Lost track of number of visits, noticed this is the way everyone is treated.

Back to the food: Everything is made on premise. They don't focus on a huge variety, rather having the best quality ingredients / baked goods. Trust me, from observing 1st time customers, choices are not easy. Living in Lehigh Valley, almost every trip, have to bring back something for people I know. Very serious, bragged about Sweet Life / brought back cupcakes / request for more.
