seeme
Challenging, best way to describe this exhibit. Theme based on finding your center / compass. Normally, I can figure out how each creation fits the theme / expands on it. Walking through the exhibit at least 3 times, it was difficult, at times, to figure it out.
Standing outside, thought about exhibit / theme from a different angle. True North challenges us (viewer / artist) in a completely different way.
Observer: every creation gives us a glimpse into the entire life / soul / experiences of that artist. Challenging us to figure out how that artist stays grounded throughout their lives. How that person has survived the worst / best without giving up or having an unrealistic ego.
Artist: Transforming their lives / soul / experiences into a physical creation / work of art. Having the courage to share that with general public. Knowing someone may see a part of artist's life / soul hidden within that creation.
Both: Chance of artist / observer sharing experiences. On a very small level almost becoming one with understanding / compassion for the other.
What can I say, usually see art in very different / strange ways.
