Normally, I am not one for a museum / mausoleum style exhibit. Kind of what this exhibit is. For Untune a string, works perfectly. Will get to that point momentarily.
You will definitely need time viewing this exhibit. I need to go back for a round 2. Each painting has multiple layers. Not talking about technical side. I mean, when viewing it, you seriously need to take time and do things. Look at the painting as a whole. Then, look closer and see all the details you missed. Very good chance you will arrive at 2 (or more) meanings for the same creation.
Maria does an incredible job combining true abstract while hiding other genres including realism. Each painting, she creates an entirely different reality. Huge fan of science fiction. Viewing her work, makes me think of futuristic / alien worlds either being born or ending. Again, looking closer: had an entirely different meaning.
Abstract art is a personal fav. Love it when I can look at an artist's creation / find my own meaning. Maria easily exceeds every aspect of the genre I love. Highly recommend this exhibit / seriously take some time when viewing each painting. You will be surprised at effect it may have on you.
