Left to Right: Joe / Buddy / Gina Zo / Andrew
When planning FireCity Illusion's launch, could not think of a more PERFECT way than interview this band. Worked perfectly (NYC). They made time between 2 shows. Originally introduced to them @ Wawa Welcome America Festival / Avenue of the Arts Block Party / Philadelphia, PA. They were my introduction to Philadelphia rock and music scene. They were also my intro. to Philadelphia live music venues / nightlife (Johnny Brenda's). Only 6 years of covering the city... (5 if you don't count 2020).
I cannot thank the band enough. Not only for taking time for the interview. Also, I was running very late (Honestly, lost track of time @ New York Coffee Festival). Interview on the streets, what better way to announce the new media / attitude?!?!
Velvet Rouge is great to check out online. A full, electric Rock show is a must experience! They create a new genre / way to interact with the crowd. Go way beyond setting a new standard for stage performance. Velvet Rouge is seriously on a very high level they don't share with anyone. January 6 / Dobbs on South / Philadelphia PA: will not miss that performance (exception: blizzard). Seriously a fan / experience when possible.
