Heavy downpour did not stop this annual tradition! Officially a tradition personally and for my media. Lasting about 1 hour, bands / floats / Philly's finest / dance and more gave everyone an amazing show on Market St. Special Thanks to Wawa: Free Coffee / Hot Chocolate at City Hall!
Approx. 15 minutes after the start: rain turning to heavy downpour (scroll down for photos / videos). Did not stop the crowd who was smart and ducked for cover. Did not follow example. Hiding dslr camera under jacket, stood on curb for the photos / videos. Worth every second of it and stop in Fashion District to dry off! 2021 was first experience with Holiday Parade / a lot of Philadelphia during holiday season. 2022, after 15 years, time for new holiday traditions. Visit Philly parade and other events are part of them. Special thanks to Philadelphia Police Officers and everyone involved in the parade. Again, scroll down for video article / videos / photos.
