Wickburn
Every time I am near Rockwood Music Hall / NYC, always check lineup for Stage C. Noticed name Wickburn. Ok, seriously caught my attention! Checked out their social media. Google Maps for time between stops. We can do this!
From the name, expecting Hard Rock borderline Metal. After 2 songs, very surprised. Wickburn is a serious Rock band. Not afraid to mix it up and even take it down 1 or 2 levels. Their performance kept me off guard. Trying to figure out where the band was going with next song. This point is very good! Highest point is their performance.
The band had a specific attitude on stage. "We are going to do our best to give you a great show. We love music / performing / being on stage". Without the ego (a few reviewing lehigh valley music scene).
Wickburn is a new / young NYC band to have very high on your watch list. Curious what they can do with a larger stage on the performance side.
